Terry Lee Willis, 71, of Morehead City, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at the Crystal Coast Hospice House.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Munden Funeral Home in Morehead City with Pastor Maurice Phelps officiating.
To the world, he was a United States Army Vietnam Veteran. To Carteret County, he was a commercial fisherman. To his friends and family, he was a strong, loving dad, husband, son, brother and friend.
Terry was born on October 26, 1945 in Morehead City. He was a retired U.S. Army Veteran, commercial fisherman and truck driver. He loved hunting, fishing, riding his motorcycle, and playing pool. Terry was known and loved wherever he went. His smile and laugh were contagious.

Terry is survived by his wife, Sharon Willis of Morehead City; daughters, Brandy Willis of Morehead City and Terri Ann Mace of Havelock; son, Kenneth Willis of Swansboro; mother, Aileen Willis; grandchildren, Rebekah Mace, Madison Saylors, Davin Smith, Tristen Willis, and Alexis Willis; brothers, Mike Willis and wife Hope of Ayden, NC and Lonnie and Denise Pittman of Goldsboro, NC.
He was preceded in death by his father, Captain Sam Willis.
The family will welcome friends one hour prior to the service at Munden Funeral Home.
