Tazuko (Azuma) Hersinger

Tazuko Azuma Hersinger, 86, of Newport, passed away July 30, 2016 at her home.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at Munden Funeral Home Chapel in Morehead City.
Tazuko is survived by her daughter, Yuko Olson and husband Dr. David Olson of Round Rock, TX; two sons, Bobby F. Hersinger and wife Tina G. of Morehead City and Max Hersinger of Newport; grandchildren, Sara Olson of Streamwood, IL, Lt. Matthew Olson serving in the U.S. Navy 7th Fleet, Kevin Olson of Hopkins, MN and Ashley H. Gillikin and husband Michael of Morehead City; and great-granddaughter, Piper Lenora Gillikin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard M. Hersinger; and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Azuma.
