Susan Carol Wilkerson

Susan Carol Wilkerson, 53, of Wake Forrest, formerly of Newport, passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at home.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, October 2, 2016 at Munden Funeral Home Chapel in Morehead City with Rev. Roger Whaley and Rev. John Grasso officiating. Interment to follow at Gethsemane Memorial Park.
Susan is survived by her husband George Wilkerson of the home; son, Dakota Wilkerson of Greenville, NC; daughter, Katelyn Wilkerson of North Hollywood, CA; mother, Virginia (Clements) Deininger, of Newport, NC; brother, Tommy Deininger of Newport, NC; sisters, Lisa Carbonell of Newport, NC and Cindi Grossling of Austin, TX; nephews, Justin Deininger, Colton Deininger, Gage Dutkin, Ridge Dutkin, and Brody Moots; and nieces, Lauren Moots, Cheyenne Deininger, and Aubree Moots.
She was preceded in death by her father, L.J. “Chick” Deininger of Newport, NC.
The family will welcome friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Munden Funeral Home.
