Susan "Susie" Coleman

Susan “Susie” Coleman, 78, of Smyrna, passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Carteret Health Care.
Susie was born in Kentucky, she later moved to Pennsylvania and finally retired in North Carolina. She loved to garden, fish and being on the water. Her favorite past time was cooking and canning for her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Merietta Garner and husband, Jeff of Smyrna; son, Tommy Ray Miller and wife, Michelle of Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Christopher, Brandon, Justin, Stacy; great-grandchildren, Ethan, Ariah; and her favorite dog, Chelsea.
She was preceded in death by her father, Brown Howard; mother, Mary Howard; step-mother, Dorothy Howard; former husband and father of her children, Fred Miller; son, Wade Miller; and grandson, Shane Miller.
