Sue Mae Odom

Sue Mae Odom, 87, of New Bern, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Pruitt Health- Trent, surrounded by her family.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Bridgeton Pentecostal Holiness Church, 943 Half Moon Rd, New Bern, NC 28560, with Rev. Kenneth Dixon and Rev. John Jones officiating. Interment will follow the service at Greenleaf Memorial Park.

She is survived by her husband, Willis P. Odom, Sr. of the home; daughters, Linda Williams and husband Robert, and Delores Wiggins and husband Ray of New Bern, NC; sons, Willis P Odom, Jr. and wife Dorinda and Timothy Odom of New Bern, NC, and Alton Odom and wife Jenny of Atlantic Beach, NC; brothers, Tuck Woodruff of Jarratt, VA, and Onnie Woodruff of Stony Creek, VA; sisters, Betty Fitzgerald of Lyndhurst, VA, Shelia Pierce of Lynchberg, VA, Ann Floyd of Richmond, VA, and Evelyn Moore of Jarratt, VA; also ten grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert Woodruff and Vernon Mae “Braxton” Woodruff; brothers, Bill Woodruff, Frank Woodruff, and Cecil Woodruff; and sister, Kitty Ehrhardt.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm- 2:00 pm on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Bridgeton Pentecostal Holiness Church.
