Sudie Louise (Purifoy) Swanson

Sudie Louise Swanson, 95, of Virginia Beach, VA, formerly of Morehead City, passed away Saturday, April 5, 2014 at her home.
A funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Saturday at First Free Will Baptist Church of Morehead City with Rev. Jerry Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Park, Morehead City, NC.
She is survived by two sons, Frank Swanson of Morehead City and Tom Swanson and his wife Mary of Virginia Beach, VA; 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Swanson, daughter, Ann Eure and great-granddaughter, Caroline Elyse Swanson.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Free Will Baptist Church, Building Fund, PO Box 866, Morehead City, NC 28557 or Medi Home Health & Hospice, 1112 Eden Way North, Suite 200 B, Chesapeake, VA 23320.
