Steven Iverson

Steven Iverson, 55, of Chesapeake, VA and formerly of Beaufort, NC, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, October 29, 2020.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at Carteret Memorial Gardens in Beaufort, NC. Friends are welcome to attend the service. In keeping with the CDC guidelines pertaining to the Coronavirus, those who are ill or at-risk (elderly, immune-compromised) are encouraged to stay home. Additionally, those who attend will be asked to bring and wear a protective mask. Help us honor the family while practicing safe measures. Friends are also encouraged to leave words of comfort to the family through the website.

Steve enjoyed hunting, fishing, and attending NASCAR races with his buddies.

He is survived by his son, Sean Iverson; his fiancé and soul mate, Angela White; his mother and stepfather, Marion and Marvin Britton; brothers, Phil Iverson and Kelly Iverson (Barbara); sisters, Bobbie LaShelle and Sherry Hipp; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his father, Louis Iverson; grandparents, Tom and Annie; and his uncle, Thomas Iverson.
