Steven McCoy Dudley

Steven McCoy Dudley, 67, of Beaufort, passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at his home.

Steven was born on February 13, 1957, in Morehead City, NC to the late McCoy and Vera Dudley. He was a devoted husband, family man, and dog lover whose life was enriched by his passions and the people he cherished. In 2010, Steven and his beloved wife Mary Ann, returned to the Beaufort area, where they enjoyed the coastal lifestyle. They were married for over 35 years and spent precious time together. Steven was a huge baseball fan, always rooting for his team the Atlanta Braves. He loved the ocean, often spending time by its shores, and shared many fond memories with his dogs, Layla and Katie.

Steven worked for Novo Nordisk, a biotech company, where he was known for his dedication and strong work ethic. Above all, Steven loved his family and treasured the moments spent with them. He will be dearly missed but fondly remembered for his kindness and unwavering love.

Those remaining to cherish his memory are his sons, Shane Dudley of Mayodan, NC, William Dudley (Gayle) of Youngsville, NC, Paul Dudley of Holly Springs, NC; and grandchildren, Freya Rayne and Christopher Lucas Dudley.

In addition to his parents, Steven was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Dudley; son, Christopher Dudley; and sister Carolyn.
