Steva D. Quick age 87 of Hancock, MD and formerly of Star Hill, NC, died Saturday July 28, 2012 at Farney-Keedy Memorial Home in Boonsboro, MD.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Saturday Aug. 11, 2012 at Munden Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Pine Lawn Memorial Park in Kinston.
Born May 8, 1925 in Kinston, she was the daughter of the late Lewis Justus and Mae Stephenson Dupree and the widow of George A. Quick.
She was a former Police Commisioner of Cape Carteret, a homemaker and a Presbyterian, a member of the National Council of Garden Clubs and a Life Judge and Flower Show School Instructor.
She is survived by two daughters, Judith Quick of Hancock, MD and Susan Quick of Kanehoe, HI; two granddaughters, Amanda and Hannah: and two great grandsons.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Louis Dupree.
Visitation will be held 6:00 - 8:00 pm Friday at Munden Funeral Home.
