Sophronia Ann (Gillikin) Pittman

Sophronia Gillikin Pittman, 86, of Stacy, died Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at Crystal Coast Hospice House.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ernest Laxton, and Rev. Larry A. Pittman officiating. Interment will follow at Stacy Community Cemetery.
She is survived by four daughters Susan Siever and husband Craig of Havelock, Andrea Dee Lacker and husband Joe of Windsor, PA, Patti P. Mason and husband Luther of Stacy, and Karen P. Beckman and husband Derek of Morehead City; one son Andy Pittman and wife Vivian "Bibi" of Williston ;five grandchildren Andy Paul Pittman, Jill Becton and husband Ion Paul, Luther Mason, Jr., Marissa Mace, and James Krupa; and three great grandchildren Macy Becton, Jamie Krupa, and Emily Matz.
She was preceded in death by her parents Bryant Rumley and Julia Gillikin, husband Andrew Pittman, Jr., three sisters Naomi Lawrence, Elwanda Gentry, Brenda Gillikin, and four brothers Norman Gillikin, Russell Gillikin, Gerald Gillikin, and Frank Gillikin.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
