Silvia Mandiola

Silvia Mandiola, 89, of Morehead City, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at the Crystal Coast Hospice House.
Her funeral mass will be held Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Munden Funeral Home, officiated by Father Bill Upah.
She is survived by her daughter, Silvia “Cookie” East and husband, James of Morehead City; sister, Mercedes Leal of Cuba; grandchildren, Thomas Herron and wife, Lauren of Huntersville, Luis Herron and wife, Cortney of Morehead City; great-grandchildren, Giancarlo Herron, Giovanny Herron, Mason Thomas and Southerland Herron.
She was preceded in death by husband, Luis Mandiola, and parents, Alfredo and Luisa Leal.
Family will receive friends, Friday, December 8, 2017 at 6pm, at the residence of Cookie and James East, at 108 Woodridge Dr. Morehead City, NC 28557.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Silvia’s memory, to the Crystal Coast Hospice House at 100 Big Rock Weigh, Newport, NC 28570.
