Shirley Ann Simerson, 68, of Hubert, passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Onslow Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Munden Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Reverend Clyde Eborn. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Park.
Shirley is survived by her husband, Edward T. Simerson of the Home; sons, Gregory Martin Simerson of Hubert, Daniel Simerson of New Mexico, Jonathan Simerson of Ohio; daughters, Lorrie Ann Simpson of Hubert, Tammy Sauer of Queen Creek, Arizona, Penny Gaskins of Newport, Pricilla Thompson of Kinston; brother, Thomas “Buddy” Hansley of Newport; sisters, Alice Reed of Chocowinity, Josephine Piver of Beaufort; 14 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harvey Mack Hansley; mother, Thelma “Collins” Hansley; daughter, Kathy Anderson; brother, John Hansley; sister, Dorothy Buck.
Family will see friends Friday night from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Munden Funeral Home.
