Shirley Barts (Barefoot) Pollard

Shirley Barts Pollard, 82, of Morehead City, died Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Crystal Coast Hospice House.
The family will conduct a memorial service 2:00 pm Saturday, Januray 10, 2015 at Glad Tidings Church with Rev. Tim Marriner officiating.
She was a member of Glad Tidings Church for over 63 years.
She is survived by her husband of 11 1/2 years, Johnie Pollard of the home; two sons, William L. Barts, Jr. and wife Susan of Morehead City and Craig Barts and wife Joannie of Newport; step-daughter, Alice Faye Cree and husband Jimmy of Prescot, AZ; step-son, Mike Pollard and wife Carolyn of Suffolk, VA; also eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, and three step great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, William L. Barts, Sr., son, Terry Mel Barts, parents, Raymond and Pearl Barefoot, brother, Boyce Franklin Barefoot, sister, Marjorie Alice Shelor, and step-daughter, Elizabeth Ann Pollard.
The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
