Shirley Martin

Shirley Jean Ellers Martin, age 79, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2016 in Fort Pierce, FL.
Ms. Martin moved to Fort Pierce, Florida in 2000 coming from Havelock, North Carolina.
She retired a civil service employee working aboard Cherry Point. Shirley was a member of the Orange Baptist Church. She was passionate about making care packages for the homeless and donated her hank knitted blankets to Hospice.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 Saturday morning at the Munden Funeral Home Chapel in Havelock.
A visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Gerald W. Ellers, her second husband Herbert L. Martin, and her brothers, Aaron A Mills, John J. Mills, and William D. Mills
She is survived by three daughters, Debra J. Compton of Fort Pierce, FL; Pamela S. Buck of Pensacola, FL; Miriam K. McCallister of Monroe, NC; two sisters, Hattie L. Stillman of Bloomington, IL; Minnie R. Trippi of Fountain Inn, SC; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
