Shirley Fuchs

Shirley Taylor Fuchs, 81, of Atlantic, went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Duke University Medical Center surrounded by her loving husband, children and grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, April 17, 2016 at Sea Level Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Anderson officiating.  Interment will follow at Nelson Bay Cemetery.

Mrs. Fuchs was a charter member of Sea Level Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Charlie R. Fuchs of Atlantic; two daughters, Andrea Yeomans and husband Leland of Harkers Island and Clara Graham and husband Sammy of Atlantic; son, Charles Fuchs and wife Heather of Atlantic; seven grandchildren, Ashley Lawrence and fiancée Amy, Charles Michael Fuchs and wife Lindsey, Samantha Springle and husband Davis, Jessica Dupree and husband Dane, Megan Graham, Payton Fuchs and Brayden Fuchs; great grandchildren Kole Dupree, Nicholas Dupree and soon to be born Baby Girl Fuchs; and two brothers, Daniel Taylor and wife Hazel and Samuel Taylor and wife Luann, all of Atlantic; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Miriam Golden Taylor.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 pm Sunday, April 17, 2016 at Sea Level Missionary Baptist Church.
