Sherry Lewis Inman

Sherry Lewis Inman, 69, of Broad Creek, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2016 at Kindred Hospital in Greensboro, NC.

A funeral will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Munden Funeral Home Chapel in Morehead City with Rev. Robert Langley officiating. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Park.

Sherry was born and raised in the Broad Creek Community.  In addition to owning her own cleaning service, she also worked for Atlantic Veneer.  She will be remembered for her work ethic, talent for cooking, and loving support of her family.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Sherry is survived by her husband of 41 years, Wayne Inman; daughter, Lynn Culpepper Howard and husband Jeff of Kinston; sons, Charles Culpepper of Broad Creek, Shane Inman and wife Tara of Newport and Shannon Inman of Newport; brothers, Johnny Lewis of Newport and Charles Lewis of Mill Creek; and sisters, Mickey Barbour Jarman of Virginia and Charlene Rhue of Cape Carteret; ten grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leon Lewis, Sr. and Lilly Eubanks Lewis; daughter-in-law, Kristie Rouse Culpepper; three brothers, Preston Barbour, Raymond Earl Lewis, and Leon Lewis, Jr.; and a sister, Joyce Rolison.

The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 pm Friday, August 26, 2016 at Munden Funeral Home.
