Sherman A. Spikes, 75, of Newport, died Monday, January 6, 2014 at his home.
No services will be held at this time.
He is survived by one daughter Traci Spikes of Newport; three grandchildren Marli Jones and wife Amber of Newport, Bobby Jones and wife Sara of Tennessee, and Emelia Payne and husband Jonathan of Newport; five great grandchildren Kristopher, Jacob, Jonathan Jr. "JJ", Levi, and Audrey Marie Ann; a sister Aline Crain of Louisana; a brother Norman Spikes of Arkansas; several nieces and nephews; and dearest friend Christine Robinette of Newport.
He was preceded in death by wife JoAnn Marie Hebert Spikes, and parents Leonard and Gladys Spikes.
