Sherman G. Embrey, Jr.

Mr. Embrey was a cartographer for the Defense Mapping Agency for 40 years. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a brother of Cherrydale Masonic Lodge in Virginia, and he played Santa Claus for over 30 years in the greater Washington area.
He was survived by his spouse, Jeanette Embrey of the home; three sons, Myles Embrey, D. Richard Embrey and wife Mary Lou, and Christopher Embrey all of Virginia; five grandchildren, Brandon, Taylor, Austin, Phoenix, and Gryphon; sister, Sheila Mae Martin; six nephews, Mark, Troy, Nick, Anthony, Michael and Matthew; and niece, Michelle.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sherman G. and Grace M. Favill, and grandson, Ryan Conner.
