Shellie Stowe Piner, 51, of Newport, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2014 at home with her family by her side.
A memorial service will be held 3:00 pm Sunday at Open Door Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Linebarger officiating.
Shellie was a member of Open Door Baptist Church, and an employee of Time Warner Cable for 24 years.
She is survived by her husband of 29 years Gregory Piner of the home; a son Drew Piner and wife Samantha of Newport; daughter Sela Piner of Newport; granddaughter Sarah Ann Piner; and father Jackie Stowe, and mother Barbara Biggerstaff.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Raab Clinic 302 Medical Park Morehead City, NC 28557.
