Shelia Boswell Morgan

Shelia Boswell Morgan, 76, of Atlantic Beach passed away, Sunday, November 5, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her family.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the St. James United Methodist Church in Newport at 11 a.m., Friday, November 10^th with the Reverend Joseph Park officiating. The interment ceremony will be held at a later date.

Sheila was born in Colerain, NC, to the late Linwood and Evelyn Boswell.  She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all. Sheila's dedication extended beyond her profession, as she also cherished and fiercely loved her family.  Shelia was a devoted member of the St. James United Methodist Church where she served her Lord.

Throughout her life, Shelia pursued her passion for helping others in the healthcare industry. With her associate degree in hand, she became a skilled X-ray technician, making a significant impact on the lives of those she cared for. Her professionalism, kindness, and ability to offer comfort during difficult times were qualities that truly set her apart.

Those who will cherish her memory are her husband, Charles Morgan; daughter, Meredith McCabe and husband John Mason of Beaufort; sister, Sharon Peele of Greenville; brother, Joel Boswell of Robersonville; grandchildren, Bailey McCabe, Tabitha Smith and husband Dylan, and Kaila Powell (Jairo Vazquez); and great-grandchild, Ronan Smith.
