Sharon Tracy Gillikin,46, of Beaufort, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family.
Her funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Munden Funeral Home Chapel in Morehead City with Pastor Paul Mann officiating. Interment will follow at the Gillikin Family Cemetery.
Sharon loved the outdoors, animals and anything to do with nature. She loved gardening and could make something beautiful out of any discarded object. One of her greatest loves was her fur baby, Kitter.
She is survived by her parents, Ronnie and Betty Jean Gillikin; brothers, Ronnie Gillikin, Jr. and his wife, Rebekah of High Point, and Jason Gillikin of Otway; sisters, Rhonda Gillikin of Otway, and Anna Gillikin of Morehead City; several nieces and nephews, Amanda Baracus, Cameron Gillikin, Daniel Gillikin, Tracy Gillikin, Greg Gillikin and wife Kristie, and Valerie Vreeke and husband Jason; and great nephews, Isaiah, Johny and Andrew.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Dave and Pauline Gillikin, and Ed and Lela Rose.
