Sharon Reherman Bailey, 59, of Maysville, North Carolina, passed away peacefully at her home with her loved ones by her side on Tuesday, April 15, 2025.
A memorial service in celebration of Sharon's life will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 19, at Munden Funeral Home in Morehead City.
Born on October 9, 1965, in Louisville, Kentucky, Sharon was the daughter of the late Fredrick Reherman and Carol Degler. Her family later relocated to North Carolina, where she spent her early years in Raleigh before making her home in Morehead City. Sharon's faith was an integral part of her life and she was greatly blessed by the ministry at Bogue Banks Baptist Church.
Sharon was known for her patience, love, and kindness, qualities that were seen in her work as a childcare director. She touched the lives of countless children and their families, leaving a lasting impact on those in her care.
Sharon’s creativity was seen through her beautiful arts and crafts, including knitting and crochet projects. In her free time, she also enjoyed getting lost in a good book.
Sharon will be remembered for her warmth, compassion, and the love she spread to those around her.
Those remaining to cherish her memory are her daughters, Sarah Ann Bailey (Joshua Benton) of Maysville, NC and Brooke Bailey (Brian Peters) of Wake Forest, NC; son, Joshua Alexander Bailey (Maggie) of Groveland, CA; brothers, Fred Reherman of Greenville, NC and Michael Reherman of Beaufort, NC; step-father, Robert Degler (Suzy) of Atlantic Beach, NC; grandchildren, Travis, Theodore, Lincoln, and Harper; and nephew, Fred Reherman.
