Shannon Michael Rollins

Shannon Michael Rollins, 54, of Morehead City, NC, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2024, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

The family will celebrate Shannon’s life privately.

Shannon was born on December 1, 1970, in Lancaster, SC, to the late Conrad Rollins Sr. and Arelene Rollins. A skilled machinist, he worked as a computer numerical control machinist, playing a crucial role in the manufacturing industry.

Shannon was an extraordinary individual whose passion for the great outdoors filled his life with adventure and joy. He was happiest when spending time at the shore, hiking the scenic trails of Fort Macon, or enjoying a motorcycle ride. Shannon’s love for life's great adventures was evident in everything he did.

Those remaining to cherish his memory are his companion, Terri Applewhite Jenkins of Morehead City, NC; sons, Shannon Rollins and Johnny Rollins, both of Ochlocknee, GA; brother, Joe Rollins (Bonnie) of Ochlocknee, GA; and stepmother, Vickie Rollins of Ochlocknee, GA.

In addition to his parents, Shannon was preceded in death by his brother, Conrad Rollins Jr.
