Scott Coleman Wright

Scott Coleman Wright, 55, of Newport, North Carolina, passed away Saturday, October 21, 2023, at his home.

Scott was born on October 27, 1967, in Roanoke Rapids, NC, to Patsy Heustess and Greg Wright. He attended Parkview Baptist Church in Morehead City, NC.

Scott was a professional pool player and a carpenter by trade. He was a very skilled carpenter, loving all aspects of his work.

Scott was a loving father, a loving son, and friend to many.  Family time was something special to Scott and the bond he shared with his daughter Sasha was exceptional. He will be deeply missed and treasured always.

Those remaining to cherish his memory are his wife, Sittie Wright and daughter, Sasha Lovelle Lee Wright of the home; mother, Patsy Heustess of Newport, NC; father, Greg Coleman Wright (Judy) of Halifax, NC. Scott had a large family of many aunts, uncles, and cousins on both sides of his family.
