Scott Gerald Willer

Scott Gerald Willer, 42, of Morehead City passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at Carteret Health Care.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at Shepard of the Sea Lutheran Church. with Rev. Scott Berry officiating.

Scott loved sports, Sci- Fi, Football, Golf and the Detroit Red Wings. He also loved spending time with family and friends. He lived for the day and especially those Mountain Dews. Scott always loved to tell jokes and his computer and iPod, He had a kind spirit and defied all odds and was only expected to live initially for twenty one years, He doubled his life time for the love of life. Scott, has become an organ donor and is still giving, the gift of life.

He is survived by his parents, Gerald and Carolyn Ann Willer; two sisters, Linda Ann Eland of Lake Orion, MI and Jane Marie Willer of Morehead City, NC; and  two nieces, Hope Eland and Alissa Eland: one uncle; Eddie Dixon;and two aunts, Faye Matthews and Sandy Garland; also very special caregivers; Jyl, Aaron, Lou, Angela, and Kristina.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Church.
