Sara Willis Brown

Sara Willis Brown, 73, of Davis, passed on Thursday, March 31, 2011 at her residence.
Services will be held 11:00 am Monday at the Davis First Baptist Church with Rev. Ed Renfrow officiating. Interment will follow at the Oscar Davis Cemetery.
Sara retired after 26 years from the North Carolina School System and worked several summers with the North Carolilna Ferry Service. She was a life-long member of Davis First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons, Charles Brown and wife, Sandy of Straits, NC, Robert Brown and wife, Silvia of Lexington Park, MD, and Kyle Brown and wife, Anna; daughter, Rebecca Goodwin and husband, John of Cedar Island; the grandchild she raised, Michael Brown; grandchildren, Morgan and Hunter Brown, Laken Brown, Scott Goodwin and wife, Ashlyn, and Samuel Goodwin; great-grandchild, Riley Tayman, and step-grandchildren, Robby and Gina McGee.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Monnie and Callie Willis, and brother, David Willis of Davis.
The family will receive friends 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Sunday at the church.
