Santo "Tony" Anthony Natale

In loving memory of Santo “Tony” Natale, 89 who passed away into God’s loving hands on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at his home in Newport.

His funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 24, 2019, at Munden Funeral Home in Morehead City, officiated by Father William Upah. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Park.

Tony was a quiet, humble man that loved his family more than anything. He was a Marine Corps veteran who had distinguished service in the Korean War. Tony went on to apply his military experience to his 30-year career at Cherry Point where he worked as an aircraft electronic technician.

He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Sylvia Natale of the home; daughter, Diane Funari and husband Ron of Fayetteville; son, Danny Natale and wife Kimberly of Emerald Isle; granddaughter, Michele Ludwigsen; grandsons, Anthony Funari and Danny Natale, Jr.; great-grandsons, Noah Ludwigsen and Neil Funari; loving nieces, Katrina, Joanne and Mary Jane; and nephews, Ronny, James and Jim.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Frances Ross; baby sister, Mary Natale; and  brothers, Joseph Natale, Tony Natale and Vincent Natale.

Family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 24, 2019, at Munden Funeral Home in Morehead City.
