Sandra Jean Wray

Sandra Jean Wray, loving and devoted wife to Tom Salter of Bettie, recently passed peacefully.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Tom of the home, and her stepson, Luke Salter of Sea Level.

She also leaves behind her sister, Angela Eubanks and husband Ronnie of Henderson, NC; her nephew Aaron Eubanks and fiancée Kerry Shotwell of Oxford, NC; niece, Emily Ball and husband Damien; and great niece, Olivia Ball all of Oxford, NC.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Wayne Wray of Beaufort and Louise Wray Boggs of Newport.

Sandy devoted her life to the love and happiness and care of her family. She was a fun and loving aunt who was loved by her niece and nephew dearly.

Carried over from her childhood, she developed her deep love for horses, cats and dogs. Her greatest enjoyments consisted of cooking, fishing and boating.

During her life as a nurse, she touched the hearts of and earned the respect of all she encountered.

She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

The family will a have a Celebration of Life in private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to any local animal shelter, in memory of Sandy Wray.
