Sandra L. Sneesby

Sandra L. Sneesby, 85, of Morehead City, North Carolina, passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2023, at the Crystal Coast Hospice House.

A memorial service to honor Sandra's life will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, December 6th at St. Peter's United Methodist Church, officiated by Rev. Karl Zorowski.

Sandra was born on August 1, 1938, in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, to the late Clifford and Martha Christofferson. Her family later moved to Racine, WI where she met her high school sweetheart, Michael Jerry. After she and Michael married, they moved to Menomonie, WI, where they began their family and raised their daughters.

Sandra's journey through life was marked by dedication and commitment. After completing her high school education, she embarked on a career as an administrative assistant in the telephone industry. Sandra's keen attention to detail and warm personality made her an invaluable member of the AT&T accounts receivable department for 25 years.

Retirement brought new adventures and opportunities for Sandra. She relocated to Carteret County, North Carolina, where she enjoyed spending her childhood summers at the Hollowell Hotel on Atlantic Beach. Her aunt, Betty Hollowell, owned the hotel which meant wonderful summers spent by the ocean.

Sandra’s kindness was reflected through her volunteer work with Hands of Hope. She was also an active member of both First Methodist Church and St. Peter’s United Methodist Church.

Those remaining to cherish her memory are her daughters, Alison Jerry and Pamela Jerry, both of Doylestown, Pennsylvania; stepson, Neil Sneesby (Jen) of Colorado; and her brother, Charles Christopherson of Racine, WI.
