Sandra Harvey

Sandra Harvey, 58. of Newport, died Thursday, May 13, 2010, at Carteret General Hospital.
Mrs. Harvey was a member of Grace Baptist Church and before her health failed, she was very active in the church.
Services will be held 11:00 am Monday at Grace Baptist Church with Pastor Clyde Ebron officiating. Burial will follow at 2:00 pm in Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville.
She is survived by her husband. Allen Harvey, Jr. of the home; daughter, Shelby McPherson of Fort Carson, CO; son, Allen Harvey, III of New Bern; sisters, Bernice Ludwigsen and Margaret Minick, both of Staten Island, NY; brothers, Jacob Timms of Jacksonville, FL and John Timms of Tamarac, FL and eight grandchildren.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Baptist Church, Radio Station WOTJ, 520 Roberts Rd., Newport, NC, 28570.
