Sally Palmer Taylor Hopkins, 75, of Beaufort, went home to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Friday January 13, at her home surrounded by her family.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday at Harlowe United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ben Simms and Rev. Nelson Hopkins officiating.
Miss Sally was a member of Harlowe United Methodist Church. Everyone she met she told them " I am blessed".
She is survived by her husband Alfred "Shugey" Hopkins of the home: three sons Nelson Hopkins and wife Vicky of Morehead City, Joseph "Joey" Hopkins and Raymond Hopkins both of Beaufort, two daughters Dorothy Guthrie and husband Kelly of Core Creek and Roxeanne Hopkins of Core Creek : grandchildren Vickie L. Allen and husband Nate of Woodbridge, VA, Chris Hopkins and wife Joanna of Greenville, Isaac Hopkins and wife Sarah of Newport, Anna Hopkins, Sam Hopkins and Maggie Hopkins of Morehead City, Candi Davis and husband Nate of Wilmington, Gabe Guthrie of Core Creek, Sarah Ann Cooley of Wilmington, Joseph Lee Cooley and Sally Cooley of Core Creek: six great grandchildren Brayden Hopkins, Colton Allen, Cayden Allen, Judah Hopkins, Abby Lynn Hopkins, and Chase Davis.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, one sister and two brothers.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
