Sage Stinson, 40, of Morehead City, NC, died Thursday, September 1, 2011 at Carteret General Hospital.
Sage graduated from East Carteret High School in 1989. and attended the Musical Institute in Hollywood, CA.
A memorial service will be held 12:00 pm Tuesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Morehead City, with Bishop Sam Rollings presiding.
She is survived by her mother, Virginia Lee Davis of Beaufort, NC; brothers, Scott Stinson of Miami, FL, Bo Stinson of Mebane, NC and Tad Davis Stinson of Edgefield, SC; aunts, Nancy Davis and Ann Bass; uncles, Billy Davis and wife Mary Ann, Richard Davis, and Billy Stinson and wife Sandra.
She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Lynn Stinson; paternal grandparents, Hoye and Margaret Stinson; and maternal grandparents, William Oliver and Rosalie Davis.
The family will receive friends at 11:30 am Tuesday at the church prior to the service.
