Ryan Thomas Godby

Ryan Thomas Godby, 36, of Erie, Pennsylvania, formerly of Morehead City, North Carolina, passed away on April 21, 2024.

A graveside service to honor Ryan’s life will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, May 23^rd at Gethsemane Memorial Park in Newport, NC, officiated by Pastor Manley Rose Jr.

Ryan was born on September 4, 1987, in his hometown of Morehead City, NC.

Those remaining to cherish his memory are his father, Jimmy Godby and wife Tina of Newport, NC; mother, Janet Smith Bridges and husband Chris of Morehead City, NC; half-sisters, Taeler Godby and Mariah Davis; half-brother, Evan Long; and stepbrother, Hunter Lopez.

Ryan was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jim and Terry Godby, and maternal grandparents, Gordon and Jean Smith.
