Ruth (Kitrell) Wortman

Ruth Kittrell Hinson Wortman of Morehead City went to be with her Lord and Savior on 20 Dec 2012. Ruth was born in Pitt County, NC. March 24, 1928, the daughter of Guy William Kittrell and Dora Pearl Dixon Kittrell. Ruth was retired from Duke University Hospital.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Frank Kittrell; her first husband, Albert Coy Hinson and her dogs Dusty and Buttons.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband: Bobby E Wortman of the home; daughter, Dorothy Hinson Hall and husband Jack Hall of Burke County, NC.; a son Micheal Hinson of Boca Raton, Fla. Sister, Tessie Stinson and husband Waylon "Ben" Stinson of Hillsborough, NC. ; Grandchildren; Rhonda Sisk, Rodney Hall, Alan Hall. Step children; Gary Wortman of Fla.; Ronnie Wortman of Fla., Karen Grunewald and Husband Ronnie of Tenn.; Vicki Stark of Morehead City, NC. and Several great grandchildren.
Ruth was a very Smart energetic independent hard working person most of her life. She loved cooking and spending time with her family and friends. She was always there in time of need. Ruth loved gardening, flowers, reading and cross word puzzles. Ruth will be missed by all and loved forever.
