Ruth Hall Mann

Ruth Hall Mann, 91, of Atlantic died Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at Carteret General Hospital.

Services will be held 3:00 pm Sunday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terry McInnis and Rev. Eddie Brookshire officiating. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Park.

Ruth was a member of Atlantic Missionary Baptist Church. She was born in Gales Creek and lived in Atlantic for 30 years until she went to Taylor Extended Care in Sea Level.

She is survived by her sons, Ronald Mann and wife, Becky of Jefferson, NC and Wayne Mann and wife, Judy of Newport; six grandchildren, David K. Mann, Tony W. Mann, Randy Mann, Regina Hill, Pamela Millette, and Monica Wrobel; daughter-in-law, Margie Mann of Atlantic; sister-in-law, Goldie Hall of Gales Creek; and six great-grandchildren, Olivia Mann, Dalton Mann, Ethan Mann, Nathan Mann, Cecil Hill and Amanda Hill.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rayon Mann; sons, David Hall Mann and Thomas Mann; sisters, Margaret Hall and Callie Midgett; and seven brothers, her twin, Randall Hall, Lester Hall, Theodore Hall, Cecil Hall, D.J. Hall, David Midgett, and Julian Midgett.

The family will receive friends 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
