Ruth Jean Mann

Ruth Jean Mann, 87, formerly of Newport, NC, passed away on Friday, January 24, 2025, at Cardinal Care in Jacksonville, NC.

Ruth was born on October 9, 1937, in Scio, Oregon, to the late Henry and Alfreda Lukenbaugh. Throughout her life, she exemplified dedication and a strong work ethic. Her nurturing spirit was seen through her love and the care she provided for her family and those dear to her. 

Ruth enjoyed her time at the beach and exploring new sites on road trips with her friends. She loved to bake cakes for the church and for her family and friends.

Those remaining to cherish her memory are her children, Rick J. Nollen of Lyons, Oregon, Phyllis J. Nollen of Marion, Oregon, Larry Joe Nollen of Marion, Oregon, Karl Jason Nollen of Oregon, and Earl James Nollen of Lyons, Oregon; along with many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, James Mann and daughter, Vicky Jean Busenburg.

Ruth will be laid to rest privately, next to her late husband James, at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Newport.
