Ruth Trumbul Hammen

Ruth Trumbul Hammen, 95, of Sea Level and Pine Knoll Shores, passed away, Sunday, May 11, 2014 at Carteret General Hospital.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Lavallette, NJ.
Ruth had been a long time resident of Lavallette, NJ prior to moving to Pine Knoll Shores.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Williams and husband Ray of Pine Knoll Shores; four grandchildren, Dana Edine, Mitchell Williams and wife Cheryl, Cindy Natale and husband Gerard, and Billy Dale Hammen; five great-grandchildren, Allison Shepherd, Jillian Edine, Matthew Williams, Joseph Williams, and Courtney Muraczewski; two great-great grandchildren, Benjamin and Cora Shepherd.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Hammen in 1975, her parents, Harry & Elizabeth Searson Trumbul and her son, Richard Hammen in 1998.
The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Snug Harbor, the Minto Wing, and Dr. Crosswell for the excellent care and love shown to Ruth these last four years.
