Ruth Boenitz

Ruth Clair Schulte Boenitz, 85, of Havelock, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at Cherry Point Bay.
No services will be held.
Ruth was a member of the VFW #9960 of Swansboro and the Empire Kennel Club. She loved all animals, especially her Alaskan Malamutes. She competed in figure roller skating pairs championships, enjoyed watching professional figure skating, and was a lifetime fan of the Green Bay Packers and Vince Lombardi. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Ruth was well loved and made friends everywhere she went.
Ruth is survived by her sons, Keith Boenitz of Bogue, NC and John Boenitz and wife Nora of High Land Lakes, NJ; son-in-law, Brian Long of Hewitt; daughter-in-law, Cindy Boentiz of Jefferson, NJ; 11 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years, William Boenitz; son, Guy Boenitz; and daughters, Sandy Boenitz Long and Susan Boenitz.
