Ruth May Bell, 89, of Morehead City, died Friday, May 16, 2014 at Crystal Bluffs.
A funeral will be held 2:00 Tuesday at First Baptist Church with Dr. Nate Leonard, and Rev. Darrell Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Park.
Ms. Ruth was employed as a nurse for many years. Her love for children touched so many lives.
She is survived by a daughter Terry Kues and husband Eddy of Morehead City; two granddaughters Rebekah Beck and husband Benjamin of Morehead City, and Allyson Gaines and husband Chris of Morehead City ; and two great grandchildren Hannah Beck, and Brody Gaines.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Bell, a brother Buddy Best, and sister Helen Willis.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 pm Monday at Munden Funeral Home.
