Ruth Marie (Marshall) Barbeau

Ruth Marshall Barbeau, 73, of Morehead City, died Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Crystal Coast Hospice House.
A funeral will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday at Glad Tidings Church with Rev. Tim Mariner officiating. Interment will follow at Oceanview Cemetery.
Ruth was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and aunt. She was a member of Glad Tidings Church, she loved to sing in the choir, and dancing when she was younger. She enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, swimming, camping, and writing books and poetry.
She is survived by a daughter Lisa D. Bain of Morehead City; three sons Cecil H. Dudley, Jr. of Morehead City, Jason V. Dudley and wife Missy of Morehead City, and Walter O. Dudley and wife Kristen of Raleigh; a brother David Davis; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Barbeau, parents Matthew and Elizabeth Marshall, and sibilings Margee Marshall, Martha B. Worley, Betty M. Day, Anna T. Davis, Peggy M. Ronning, Matthew Marshall, Jr., Buddy M. Marshall, and Henry Marshall.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 pm Monday at Munden Funeral Home.
