Russell Bunch, Jr., 85, of Newport, died Wednesday, October 6, 2010, at Carteret General Hospital.
A memorial service will be held 1:00 pm Saturday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel.
He is survived by his wife Oleta “Pete” Bunch of the home; daughter Earlene Lawrence and husband Dannie of Beaufort; brother Carl Bunch and wife Ann of Hubert; two step-daughters, Terry Garner and husband Clayton, and Connie Willis and husband Leon, all of Newport; step-sons Sherman Griffin and wife Barbara of Beaufort, Charles Griffin and wife Kathy of Mocksville, and Randy Griffin of Atlantic Beach; 21 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Flowers are welcome, or memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
