Rosellen "Rosie" Staples

Rosellen "Rosie" Staples, 62, of Smyrna, died Thursday, July 18, 2013 at Crystal Coast Hospice House.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Saturday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Richard Derreth officiating.
Rosie worked as a registered nurse at Forsyth Hospital, Carteret General Hospital, and Snug Harbor. She loved being at the beach and on the water.
She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Clayton Doss of the home; a son, Bradley Doss and fiance Delynn of Yuma, AZ; two grandchildren, Samantha Cantrell and Darcie Slovacek ;one great-granddaughter; two brothers, Watt Staple and wife Billie of Raleigh, NC, and William Staples and wife Jeanette of Alabama; six nieces, one nephew, and her special angel on earth, Betsy Howell.
She was preceded in death by her parents Pete and Maryellen Staples.
In lieu of flowers, Crystal Coast Hospice House, PO Box 483, Morehead City, NC 28557.
