Rose Myers, 64, of Beaufort, died Friday, October 8, 2010, at the residence of her sister.
Services will be held at a later date.
She is survived by her companion, Henry Parker; two daughters, Victoria Hawes and companion Michael Reinhold of Fairfield, ME, and Tammy Dixon and companion Timothy Willy of Rome, ME; son, Shannon Myers and wife Rachel of Otway; father, Leonard Dufour of Newport, four sisters, Mae Willis of Newport, Elizabeth Dow of Starks, ME, Anita Gaus of Broad Creek, and Linda Dufour of Newport; two brothers, Maynard Dufour of Mill Creek, and Leonard Dufour, Jr., of Vernon, CT; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Anna Dufour; son, Ricky Carron; sister, Elaine Martin; and brother, Bernard Dufour.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 930-B Wellness Drive, Greenville, NC 27834.
