Rose Marie (Welter) Kraus

Rose Marie Kraus, 92, of Morehead City, passed away peacefully at 12:20 pm on December 6, 2014, at Crystal Bluffs Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, January 24, 2014 at Munden Funeral Home Chapel.
She was born on June 2, 1922 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Lucinda Lee Maynard Welter and Henry Herman Welter.
Married to Henry Jerome Kraus on January 10, 1942, she was the loving mother of six children, and the proud grandmother of three grandchildren.
Rose was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years and her two eldest sons, Robert Lee Kraus and Bruce Eric Kraus.
She is survived by her daughters Karen Louise Peiritsch and husband Thomas Peiritsch of Pittsburgh, PA, Anne Kraus Macklin and husband Andy Macklin of Newport, NC. Her surviving sons are Brian Francis Kraus and wife Jeannie Wilson Kraus of Morehead City, NC, and Henry Jay Kraus of Jacksonville, NC. The three surviving grandchildren are Stephanie Williamson of Ormond Beach, Florida, Jaime Bresnei of Pittsburgh, PA, and Robert Forrest Kraus of Morehead City, NC.
