Roscoe Wainwright

Roscoe Richard Wainwright, 79, of Beaufort, died Sunday, November 22, 2009, at Carteret General Hospital.
He was known to most as "Roscoe's Seafood" for the past twenty years. He also served in the U.S. Navy. Roscoe loved life, he enjoyed fishing with friends and taking care of the many stray cats that showed up at his door. He will be greatly missed by many friends, his family, and his "beloved cats."
Services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Park.
He is survived by two sons, Gary Wainwright and wife Susan of Wilmington and Mike Wainright and wife Donna of Ayden; two daughters, Joy Neal of Charleston, SC and Janet Rasberry and husband Robert of Greenville; eight grandchildren, two step-grandsons, and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Patrick Christopher Wainright.
The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Tuesday at Munden Funeral Home.
