Ronald Lewis West

Ronald Lewis West, 85, of Morehead City, passed away Friday, January 5, 2018 at the Crystal Coast Hospice House.

His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 8, 2018 at Munden Funeral Home Chapel, Morehead City, officiated by Pastor Darryl Chadwick. Interment will follow at Bayview Cemetery.

He is survived by his daughters, Peggie Lee Hoffman and husband, Charles of Morehead City, Charlotte Sherwood and companion, David of Otway; sons, Randolph “Randy” West of Morehead City; sister, Carolyn Moore of Peletier; grandchildren, Carole Edge of Savannah, GA, Charles William Hoffman, Jr., of Newport, Amie Davis of Bettie, Jedediah Naegelen of Morehead City, Alisha Marie West of Morehead City; great-grandchildren, Matthew, Katherine, Johnny, Victoria, James, Zada, Jace, Luke; and great-great-grandchild, Abigail.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lee Eaton West; parents, Barry L. West and Archie M. West; son, Ronald Thomas West; brothers, Roy West, Reginald West, Leslie West; daughter-in-law, Robin Holman; and grandchild, Mark Allen Hoffman.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Crystal Coast Hospice House at 100 Big Rock Weigh, Newport, NC 28570.

Family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 8, 2018 at Munden Funeral Home, Morehead City, NC.
