Roma Jenkins

Roma Jenkins, 63, of Newport, N.C., died Sunday, August 23, 2009, at her residence.
Mrs. Jenkins lived many years in Kinston, and worked for the Kinston and Lenoir County Schools. She was employed with the Solesbee Construction Company in Spartanburg, SC.
A memorial service will be held 4:00 pm Wednesday at Munden Funeral Home with the Rev. Ben Ball officiating.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Jenkins; two daughters, Michelle Henderson of Wisconsin and Monica Deture of Alabama; two sons, Chris Jenkins of Kinston and Cary Jenkins of Newport; mother, Rhona Clayson of Newport; sister, Janet Carlyle of Swansboro; also eleven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, four nephews, and two nieces.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
