Roger Lawrence

Roger Lawrence, 92, of Morehead City, passed away Thursday, December 6, 2018, at his home surrounded by his family.

His funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, December 11, 2018, at St. Peters United Methodist Church, officiated by Rev. Karl Zorowski. Interment, with Masonic Rites, will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Park.

Roger was a Mason at the Ocean Lodge #405. He honorably served in the United States Navy during World War II and was in the Navy Reserves. He was a Safety Administrator at Cherry Point for many years.

He is survived by his daughter, Brenda Roberts of Morehead City; son, Roger Lawrence and wife, Susan, of Morehead City; grandson, Brandon Roberts and wife, Mary; and great-grandchildren, Carter Roberts and Ruby Jane Roberts.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters, and wife, Betsy.

Family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, December 10, 2018, at Munden Funeral  Home.
