Roger Wade Jones, 38, of Brooklyn , NY, a Broad Creek native, died in a tragic accident on July 4, 2010 in Brooklyn.
A gathering of family and friends will be held 6:00 - 8:00 pm Saturday, July 24, 2010 at Broad Creek Church of God Fellowship Hall to celebrate his life.
Roger worked in advertising as a producer for BBDO, NY since 2000. He lived his life to its fullest, never having any regrets. Those who knew Roger had a chance to enjoy his quick wit and great sense of humor, which made everyone laugh. He was a loving son, brother and uncle.
He is survived by his father, Charles A. Jones, sister, Andrea Jones Richardson and husband, Kevin; brother, "AJ" Jones and wife, Stacy and grandfather, Roger W. Jones, all of Broad Creek; two nieces and two nephews, Tanner and Brooklyn Richardson and Felicia and Tyler Jones. He leaves behind his best friend and companion, PD, a Jack Russell Terrier.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Jones, maternal grandparents, Leslie and Grace Wade and paternal grandmother, Lucy Jones.
