Roger Dale Evans

Roger Dale Evans, 56, of Beaufort, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at New Hanover Regional Hospital.
A memorial service will be conducted by the family 11:00 am Saturday at Grayden Paul Park, Beaufort NC.
Roger retired from the USMC, and owned R & R Dive Service with his partner Randy Davis. He was a member of the Beaufort Oars and loved fishing. He was a very creative and innovative individual, and was loved by all. He will be truly missed, especially by his dog Gypsy.
He is survived by his wife Cindy Bishop of the home: children Elizabeth Everett and husband Timothy of Newport, Jonathan Evans of Beaufort, and Jessica Evans of Florida; four grandchildren Savanna Evans, Braylee Evans, Arion Everett, and Sienna Everett: and six siblings Carol McLerran, Jimmy Evans, Larry Evans, Terry Evans, Danny Evans, and Barbara Poland.
He was preceded in death by his parents Elmore and Irene Evans, and a sister Tina Wells.
